What Do You Want

What do you want to be for Halloween and Why?

Ya know, I have been thinking about it a lot lately....what do I want to be? Well, if I hadn't been my procrastinating self, I could have been put together and actually bought a real costume and its accessories. But alas, the stores are now picked through and not many costumes are left. And ya know, being the big girl that I am now, means that there are no more pickings left that would be cute yet tasteful. So I digress to either being a "mommy" wearing a pair of obvious PJ's and my hair in rollers, or a cat with black mascara, black clothes, and a pair of kitty ears. Yay. Now if I had my choice, I would think that something like a dorothy or a 50's costume would be cute and tasteful enough to wear to take my kids trick or treating. Really, who wants to see a go go girl or madonna taking their kids around the neighborhood!? I never have understood that one. HEHE

Think GREEN!

So yes, its time to talk about another fabulous company! I was given the opportunity to review a fantastic company called Wild Dill. While perusing the site, I came across many wonderful toys for kids of all ages! Not only does Wild Dill carry toys, they also carry clothing! The best part about it....its all NATURAL. All organic. And most is made of recycled materials! We got the Green Toys Tea Set
and let me tell ya...I have not seen a more sturdy tea set in a LONG time! Its made from recycled milk jugs right here in California! My daughter has had if for a few weeks now, and it has already been though the dishwasher a few times...coming out good as new each and every time! Not only are the toys and clothing carried by this company good for your child, its also good for your environment! I was lucky enough to be able to capture some really cute shots of Brie playing with her tea set for the first time. What is great is that this toy is that its fabulous for individual play, playing with friends, and also for playing with your "other" friends (i.e. your dollies!). Wild Dill is a wonderful company to go to if you are looking for imaginative gifts for a friend or loved one, or for your own child!

Another Day Another Dollar...

Seems like funds have been a little tighter than normal lately. Don't know why though. We aren't paying any more in bills than before really. Well, I guess that's not entirely true. LOL. Now that we have the house, we are paying more of the utilities and bills than we were. Needless to say, last month, we splurged on going out a little bit, and it has made this month a little dry as far as money goes. You can bet we learned our mistake there! But like the title said, another day, another dollar. Its not like we get to take it with us when we leave anyway!
