The kids went on their Slip N Slide the other day, and then their cousin Shy came to visit! Here are some pictures of both. :)

Work update! :)

I finally found out that next schedule I will get to start training for a regular server. Training will only be two days for me, three max since I already know the menu, and I have served there before. I can't wait for better tips and not running outside in the 100 degree heat!!!

On another note, the kids are doing great in school and loving going. Brie has not had an accident while at school since she started. KJ is doing wonderfully! He's made a new buddy, Andrew. He and Andrew are only a month apart in age, and he went to his first ever playdate where mommy didn't stay with him last week! Colette- Andrew's mom, said he did well, and behaved himself nicely! Yay for a good mannered little boy!

Addison is getting closer and closer to walking now! She is standing with minimal support, although still won't stand alone, and is getting closer to cruising around the furniture. She's big! Shes in the 90th percentile for everything size wise and is starting to talk. Her newest word is "up". So now she says, "mama", "dada", "hewwwo", and "up". :) They grow up so fast!

Sally (our newest addition to the family - see post below) is doing wonderfully! She and Harry are becoming very close. They play together all day long and love to lay with eachother. The cat, not so much...I think Buddy thinks Sally is a meal. He's gone after her a couple of times now.

Other than that, there's not much on the home front to report! Hope you all are doing well!!!

So that puppy that we got my sister...is now ours. After nearly being caught by her landlord, Kati and Nick decided that it isn't worth risking being evicted from her house for having a dog. So, we have named her Sally. Yes you heard right, we now have a Sally, and a Harry. :) It beats her old name of Butchy! So, today before work I have to go get our new puppy a name tag with our phone number.

Today we went and picked up my sister Kati's new puppy Princess. What a wonderful opportunity that was presented! A lady that works in the daycare next door to dad's care facility breeds chihuahuas and gives them away for FREE to families who couldn't otherwise afford a chihuahua. This little puppy is just absolutely adorable! She is definitely the healthiest of the bunch that Miss Charlotte had there, and let me tell ya...she had LOTS! There were seven puppies there yesterday and four adult chihuahuas. I hope Kati enjoys her little puppy for a VERY long time! She has wanted a chihuahua for as long as I can remember.

Visiting with Peepaw!

We went over to see my Dad today and it was a blast. KJ loves going to see Peepaw and riding with him on his chair. :) Brie warmed up much quicker this time and actually gave Peepaw hugs and kisses right when we got there! We walked to M&G's Burgers and had lunch and then walked back to the house. Its been too long since I've been able to see my dad because of my leg, and it was a much needed visit!!! Here's some pics of the kids! As you can see, they were tuckered out for the ride home! Daddy looks SO good! It is so nice to see him looking so healthy after all he's been through and I am so thankful for that! We're going to try to go see him again in a couple of weeks. :)

Addison's First Birthday!!!

Well it has happened....my baby is ONE! My how the time flies! We scrapped doing a big bash since funds are tight, and instead just had a little family gathering on the 2nd. It was intimate and fun! We went swimming, had hamburgers, opened presents and had some cake! Here are a couple pics from the day. Some of them came out a little blurry (what can I say...I wasn't the photographer! HAHA) Enjoy!










On another note...the kids both started preschool this week! KJ had his first day yesterday and he of course loved it. He said its different than the summer camp because now they are learning about letters and water. Kids are so funny. Brie's first day is today, and as I type this, she is learning about a new shape and color to match. :) I thought she'd be hesitant to leave my side, but she went right in and started playing with the other little girl that was already there! I pick her up at 11:30 and I am hoping the rest of her day went just as well!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, there really hasn't been much going on around here that is worthy of blogging about, so I held off until I had something good! Haha. I am going to get back to posting more regularly with the kids art from school and updated pics. :) Thanks for looking everyone!
