If you are the praying type, as I am, I have a very sincere prayer request. A family that I "knew" from my old church, they were the brother and sister in law of a couple in my fellowship group, lost their baby girl this week. Reese Kostjuk was born with a diaphragmatic hernia and heart defects/respiratory problems. She was in the hospital for the first 10 months of her life. She was making strides in her journey home, and a couple months ago was transitioned after many setbacks to a transitional care facility. She did well aside from a bout with pneumonia. Then, on Oct. 30th, on her first birthday, Reese was called to heaven to be with our Lord. What a precious year the Kostjuks got to spend with their baby girl. She left behind her older brother and sister, and her parents and many friends and family who cared for her deeply. She will be missed. If you could pray for wisdom for her parents, as to know what to say to their living children and grace and strength it would be much appreciated. If you want to see the whole story, please visit their blog at THE KOSTJUK FAMILY BLOG. Thanks guys.
